There’s a happy balance of keeping the head cool vs. making it warm so that you can sweat out the impurities. If only some sauna accessories could help with this problem.

Creatrix Body Detox Brush

It’s more than a brush, folks.

The Creatrix Body Detox Brush set comes with a face brush, konjac sponge, long handle body brush, handheld body brush, long handle fascia wooden nub head, and a cotton bag.

Sounds pretty awesome, right?

If you’re wondering why you would need an assortment of brushes for the sauna, let us enlighten you. As you sit in a sauna, the heat brings toxins to the surface of your skin.

The brushes help to remove toxins brought to the skin’s surface.

Brushing your skin with a dry brush also invigorates mucus discharge and eliminates dead skin cells. It’s like getting a facial, but for your entire body.

Other benefits of dry brushes are increasing blood flow and heat to a particular area.

For instance, if you need muscle relief to your quadriceps, you can brush that muscle to speed up the blood flow and get the heat there quicker. Faster recovery means less muscle soreness.

Use the brushes before you go into the sauna. Depending on the area of your body and sensitivity, it depends on how hard you brush.

Always brush in a circular motion. Ensure you brush areas that have muscle fatigue or cellulite areas.

Avoid brushing skin that is inflamed due to a skin condition or any broken skin.

All of the brushes and the bag are available for $34.99.

Sauna Whisks

If you don’t want to go the sauna brush route, you can try a sauna whisk as an alternative with some of the same benefits.

Use it the same way by brushing it all over your body to release the aroma and becomes a sauna heater for specific areas.

We recommend that you build your sauna whisk as it’s not tricky and makes it easier to customize it to your liking.

Making a Sauna Whisk

First, you will need to decide what kind of branches you want to use.

The most common branch is birch, but eucalyptus, hazelnut, and oak are often used too. The best time to gather these branches is in spring or summer before the leaves change.

Next, you need to tie the branches into a bundle. Make sure the branches are about 20 inches in length or a little shorter.

You don’t want them to be too long. Once tied, freeze them to be used later.

When you are ready to use your sauna whisk, put them in cold water and then move them to hot water for about 30 seconds.

Then run the branches over your skin to bring heat to specific areas and release their pleasant aroma for relaxation. Sit on a sauna bench and reap the rewards.

Sauna Experience Complete!

Now that you understand the range of sauna accessories, it’s time to book your sauna session.

Sauna use provides plenty of benefits for your skin, muscles, joints, and overall health. With these added sauna accessories, your sessions will be more relaxing.

You can use them in a traditional sauna or with an infrared sauna blanket like the one in our Mihigh Review.

You can even purchase sauna pillows if you decide to lie down on the sauna benches and reach ultimate relaxation. Accessories are everything, folks.
